Pedal 'n' Platter - Ladies day

This special tour is designed for women that want to try out mountain bike riding in a group with other like-minded women. Guided by local ladies that love to ride, you will feel supported and gain confidence as you learn new skills in the beautiful setting of the Jarrah forest. 

Be prepared to get your heart rate up a little as you ride through local Jarrah and Marri forest, watching out for

emus, kangaroos and birds, including the endangered Black Cockatoos.
After getting fitted out with a mountain bike and helmet, Dwellingup Adventures run through
the basics to get you started then we are on our way! Enjoy a delicious platter prepared by
Waypoints Café at the half-way point, before returning to town along the Munda Biddi Trail.
Vehicle support at the half-way point provides an option for a lift back to town if required.


  • Start: 9am. Finish: 12pm 
  • Fully guided by qualified mountain bike instructor.
  • Ages 14 + recommended. 
  • Basic fitness level required. 
  • Minimum numbers apply. 
  • Tour includes Tier 1 mountain bike, helmet, safety instruction, grazing platter for morning
    tea, cold refreshments and safety vehicle support. 
  • Option: Upgrade to an electric assist bike for extra $20. Subject to availability. 

What To Bring 

A small day pack should be carried for the tour with some rainwear (seasonal), a water bottle
and personal items. Bring plenty of water, at least 2 litres per person. There is no access to
drinking water on the trail. 

What to wear 

Comfortable bike riding or sports/active wear is recommended. Avoid non-stretchy fabrics like
denim or anything that is too heavy. Light layers are a good option as you can take them off as
you warm up. Closed in footwear is essential. If you have gloves, they are handy.

Safety

Mobile reception is unreliable, although you may get pockets of reception depending on your
phone and provider. The guide will carry first aid, satellite communications and mountain bike
repair kit. Please carry your own personal medications, if required.
